At southern end of hill, party sees grove of dead trees and shrubs. blood oozes like sap form the large dead tree in the centre. several skeletons hanging from tree itself.
Party moves towards the grove of trees to sneak through to the other side. When we go to move, we hear a very loud sound, the heavy deep sound of a horse coming from within the stone circle.
Their chanting is in an ancient language. identifying their lord as larger than life. Trying to summon something.
Party rushes through to other side of the stone circle. Pallas and Rowan climb up to the top, while Nero and Nysera go towards the southern entrance.
We see Strahd Von Starcovich-or-whatever on a flaming horse, with a dozen druids bowing down to him.
Nysera charms a guard to retrieve the others and leave, it succeeds! (sorta) Rowan runs along the wall and hurls Pallas onto the statue. Pallas crawls onto the statue’s shoulder, and then bows down (!!!)
Nysera slams the gem with magic missile. Strahd Von Starcovich-or-whatever teleports behind Nysera and whines as though he hasn’t fucked us over since we arrived. (never forget the death house)
Rowan pulls out the gem, it feels like it’s beating as blood pours out of the wound. The creatures start screaming on the ground as blood starts pouring out of their eyes. The statue crumbles, causing Rowan and Pallas to fall down.
The creatures attack us, but Rowan and Pallas are able to dash away, fire on their heels as Nysera’s fireball incinerates almost the entire group of worshippers. (!!!)
Party finishes off the remaining cultists/druids. LOOT:

Pallas hastes Rowan, who runs out of the stone circle with the magic seed raised and yells “YOUR MASTER IS DEAD! RUN WHILE YOU STILL CAN” and scares the remaining creatures into the woods.
With the enemies gone, we search under the rock cairn. Party finds: The remnants of a body that looks to have been buried with a spear - requires attunement
Nysera inspects the southern grove with detect magic. Streaks of blood pouring down from the tree. The skeletons hanging from the tree are rustling in the wind. After touching the tree, Nysera gets a crazy splinter IN her hand, Pallas claws it out after disinfecting with wine.
Party travels back at a fast pace. Party arrives back at the Wizards of the Wine Vineyard
Mood is happy, and Martikovs are working at fixing up the place.
Party embellishes the story, and receives their reward:

- 350 sp
- pouch with 5 gemstones
Davian Martikov says the gem seed in Berez will be very dangerous, and we need to be prepared.
